Every part of Tri-City Dragway's revival from the buildings on the property to the track itself is a work in progress, and we're proud of it. Restoring a piece of history like this doesn't happen overnight, and it doesn't happen alone.
That's where you come in. We need local businesses or volunteers to donate materials, time, or funding, and to partner with us as we bring this property back to life. Whether it's a load of lumber, a few hours of skilled labor, or a sponsorship, every contribution moves these projects forward. All proceeds from our annual car show go directly toward these efforts. When you attend, you're investing in the dragstrip's future.
Below are the projects currently underway. Click into each one to see how far they've come and for the future plans.

Since 2023, the timing tower has undergone a complete transformation. What was once so overgrown and worn down that it couldn't even be seen from the track is now the centerpiece of our restoration efforts.

Both concession stands were completely lost to time, buried and hidden from view, with their roofs entirely caved in. In 2026, we fully uncovered both of them, and now restoration plans are underway to bring the buildings back to life.

These iconic signs were discovered by accident at the 2024 car show, when someone noticed a mower had struck an aluminum frame hidden in the grass. That discovery uncovered a piece of the dragstrip's history that had been lost for decades.

Not every project on the property is a headline restoration. Many are smaller, ongoing efforts happening behind the scenes. These day-to-day improvements may not always grab attention, but they matter just as much as the larger projects.
