The Tri-City Dragway Car Show has been exponentially growing year after year, becoming one of the region’s premier automotive events. With over 670 show cars in attendance, the event draws thousands of spectators who come not only to admire classic and custom vehicles, but also to celebrate the legacy of the historic drag strip. More than just a display of cars, the show is a community gathering—a chance for people to reconnect, share memories and stories from the strip, and honor a piece of Michigan’s motorsports history. It is more than just a show; it is a moment for connection, community, and pride.
Entrance Instructions
Getting into the show is easier when you know what to expect. Entrance instructions are new this year, covering everything from directions and lane assignments to parking tips for groups arriving together. We encourage every attendee, whether you're a longtime regular or joining us for the first time, to review the instructions before you arrive, so you know which route to take, what to have ready at check-in, and how to make your entry as smooth as possible.

Tri-City Dragway Inc. was established in May of 2024, and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history of the dragway. We are committed to being an active part of the Saginaw community by creating opportunities that enrich local life, foster pride in our history, and bring people together.

Did you know that Tri-City Dragway was once a staple of the community in the late 1960s and 1970s? Known for its smooth track, and ability to host thousands of spectators, it quickly earned a reputation as one of the best drag strips in the nation. Read more about the history of the strip below.
Police Academy
Delta College has been providing quality law enforcement training for Northeastern Michigan since 1967. They complete their defensive driving training right at our track.
One of the unique features of their police academy program is, that as a result of where they're located, they're able to successfully train individuals for the needs of larger urban communities and smaller rural communities. Interested in learning more? Click below to read more.
